We love to talk. So here are our social media policies.

The internet is awesome. Not only do we live in the SERPs, but we also spend a fair amount of time on social media. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, blogs, and occasionally — because some of us still have faith — Google+.

WE LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK

STAT thrives on feedback from our readers and clients. Whether good or bad, we want to hear what you think. Your opinions and questions help shape the future of STAT, including our marketing, sales, and customer success efforts.

GIVE US TIME TO REPLY

We try to acknowledge and answer questions as quickly as possible in our social channels, without burning out the social media team. (They requested eight hours of sleep a night.) Our office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, PST, Monday to Friday. But sometimes we need a little time for coffee to kick in.

SUPPORT & TECHNICAL ISSUES

When it comes to technical questions or support issues, our social media team will try to help as much as possible, but may need to redirect you to our Customer Success team. You can always email them directly at support@getSTAT.com

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Everyone should be treated with respect, online and IRL. That’s why we reserve the right to remove disrespectful, inappropriate, or offensive postings without notice, on any of our social channels. Before you post, think to yourself: “Would my mother approve of this?”

PLEASE DON’T BE OFFENSIVE OR INACCURATE

Make sure what you post is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We don’t want to mislead or provide false information to anyone.

Certain things just aren’t cool. Any posts that promote violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity will be removed.

Don’t harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights (like privacy and publicity) of others. And please don’t do anything that harms or could potentially harm an individual or a company. And please don’t post any commercial messages promoting a non-STAT product on our social channels. That’s just not right.

Please respect all copyrights, trademarks, and other legal rights. We’d also ask that you don’t use our logo, or variations of our logo without talking to us first. If you require images or logos, please email us at marketing@getSTAT.com.

WRAPPING IT UP

Social media is just that; it’s social and open to anyone who wishes to participate. All content is the sole responsibility of the person who posted the content. In that respect, we can’t be held responsible in any way for comments posted to our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social channels. We do not endorse, promote, or approve user posts and, therefore, will not be liable in any way for third party content posted on our social media channels So if you come across anything that is posted on our sites that you deem inappropriate, please contact marketing@getSTAT.com and we will review it to see if it violates our Terms of Use or these social media policies We reserve the right to remove content posted on our sites, but we have no obligation to do so.

If you have posted something and it was removed, and you’d like to know why, please contact marketing@getSTAT.com

If any of the above guidelines are broken, the team may delete posts or comments, and in some cases take further action.

Bottom line: just be nice.
