Because what good is a mountain of data if you can’t find the value in it?
Not to toot our own horn, but right from the get-go we’ve been a leader in collecting huge amounts of accurate SERP data for some of the most sophisticated SEOs in the industry (toot, toot).
Curious about everything that appears on each kind of SERP, we were one of the first to gather mobile and local rankings, and track the different types of search results — from knowledge graphs, to “People also ask” boxes, to every colour of the featured snippet rainbow. SERP analytics ain’t easy, but it’s what we live for.
And while we take pride in what STAT’s become, we’re way more excited and energized for what it’s going to be. Inspired by our amazing clients, we’ve committed to an ambitious roadmap for 2017 and beyond.
“STAT’s mission statement: Unlock insights in complex data to give brands a competitive edge in search.”
Our 2017 vision is all about unlocking insights. From here on out, everything we do will work towards weaving STAT’s mountain of SERP data into easy-to-understand stories, helping our clients put their data into action.
In fact, we’ve spent the last year laying the foundation for this vision. We beefed-up our already super-strong segmentation capabilities, letting clients cut through the noise of their data, and focused on how to gather and present compound metrics, resulting in our share of voice feature, which maps our clients’ brand exposure.
A SNEAKY PEEK OF OUR BRAND NEW DASHBOARD
Next week, we’re officially bringing our brand new dashboard out of beta and into the world! It’s our first big feature release on our roadmap.
The new dashboard pulls together everything we accomplished around segmentation and compound metrics to spot the insights for you, in one handy view. Clients will quickly be able to see when their rankings take a hit, which keywords they should focus on, and who’s got grips on their organic share of voice — plus more that we’ll touch on next week.
Where is STAT heading next?
If you’re wondering what to expect in the coming year, the answer is: tons more innovation!
Since the new dashboard is powered by STAT’s segmentation, as part of our 2017 roadmap, we’ve set course to make it faster and far more accessible. We’re also eyeing up all the ways we can make STAT easier to search, because nobody wants to waste time getting to the good stuff.
And as always, we don’t believe in locking up data, so we’re working on ways to make dashboards, charts, graphs, etc, easily exportable so clients can share them with their boss, their coworkers, or their mum. We don’t judge.
The future is all about less clicks and more insights
We believe that our core strength of collecting huge amounts of accurate SERP data is only made stronger by providing more ways to unlock the insight — we want to help our clients understand what it all means and spring into action quicker. And the dashboard is just the beginning.
If you’re a STAT client wanting to know more about the roadmap or share your thoughts, our doors and email inboxes are always open. Here’s to an insightful 2017!
