We’re getting ready to rep SEO at the Canadian Internet Marketing Conference.

Community is important to us — the SEO community, our neighbourhood, the Vancouver tech and marketing community — that’s why we’re sponsoring a digital marketing event in our own backyard! From April 14–15 we’ll be in Squamish, BC at the second annual Canadian Internet Marketing Conference.

Speakers at this sold-out event include international savvy marketers from Google, Etsy, Starbucks, and our fellow Vancouverite and next-door neighbour, Unbounce.

Apart from soaking up all the knowledge and meeting new friends, we’ll be draping the 700 attendees with our STAT lanyards and setting up a booth to introduce the local online marketing community to big-time SEO rank tracking.

COOL, WHAT DO YOU DO?

STAT specializes in large-scale rank tracking and SERP analytics. Basically, we help some of the world’s largest online brands and agencies perform their best SEO in order to stay on top of the organic search results. So if you’re attending CIMC and interested in seeing STAT in action, stop by our table!

We’ll show you how easy it is to segment keywords and track SEO performance across devices in markets all over the world (simple, right?). We’ll also have some of our almost-famous STAT tees up for grabs, which have now clothed over 3,500 SEO-types to date.

Of course, you don’t need to be down with big data analytics to come by and say hi — we’re always looking to make new friends in the community.

WHAT’S THIS “SQUAMISH” YOU SPEAK OF?

More than a pretty panoramic picture and a pit stop between Vancouver and Whistler, Squamish is affectionately referred to as the “outdoor recreation capital of Canada.”

With a handful of impressive mountains, sparkly lakes, and waterfalls worth chasing, Squamish is the place for mountain bikers, hikers, and climbers, water babies, and people who like outside.

In fact, CIMC is hosting a group mountain bike ride on Thursday evening and our very own Sales Director, Duncan, has signed up for the ride. So throw your mountain bike into your carry on!

SEE YOU AT CIMC!

Needless to say, with Squamish being a quick one-hour drive from Vancouver, an extension of our community, we’ll take any excuse to go. But we also can’t think of a better reason than CIMC.

What could possibly make for a better two days than a digital marketing conference amidst the great outdoors?
